Slimline Sliding Sash

The Slimline Sliding Sash windows are a slim-line double glazed replica of our Cheltenham sash. These are beautifully styled and traditionally manufactured. Our normal practice is to fit sash windows with lead weights.  In our opinion this is a far superior and a more durable system.

The slim line double glazed units are constructed in a similar way to normal units, but only 12 mm thick with a narrow sight line so they can be fitted into windows in the same way as single glazing. Slim-line glazing is often required under listed building consent for period properties where normal double glazed units are not permitted.

In some circumstances a spring balance is a more appropriate method and we can produce these if required.  Please ensure that you specify spring balances if required, otherwise we will cost with lead weights as standard.

These windows are often combined with timber shutters, window seats, etc to complement the large window reveal.  We can also supply and fit such accessories.
