Finishes

The finish applied to your windows and doors can have a dramatic effect on the appearance for years to come. We offer the following treatments:

Clear finishes.   For treating oak and other hardwoods.

UV protection oil – This will offer the highest level of protection and will maintain the original appearance of the timber. This is available in several shades and in a clear finish.

Natural oils – These can give varying finishes, but each will allow a more natural and weathered appearance to happen over time.

Painted finish

If you would like a painted finish there are 2 options:

Spray Finished:
Doors & Windows can be spray finished in our workshop to a RAL colour of your choice. We use a high specification spray paint system to ensure the finest quality finish to your products.

Prime finish:
We will spray the joinery with 2 coats of primer/undercoat to protect it for a short time until your own decorator can apply the finish coats on site.

Pease note that the cills of door frames will not be painted so these will receive the most appropriate clear finish.

We use Osmo for clear finishes and Teknos for our paint finishes as they give superior results.
